Seattle, WA – 6N/7N Floor remodel
Full renovation of approximately 9300 sf of a 1959 Psych Unit to a new Medical/Surgical Unit with 12-14 single beds, including extensive mechanical revisions, electrical and medical gases. Project also included the renovation of 6N to create 6 antepartum rooms.
Burman provided the HVAC design working with MacDonald Miller who did the plumbing and medical gases. All of Level 7 N and about 50% of Level 6N were included in the scope along with adding in a new air handling unit in the Penthouse to serve higher ventilation needs for the upper wing of this area.
