Oberoi Hotel & Branded Residences Wadi Safar Diriyah

Scope of Work: Burman Engineering is directly appointed as an Independent Commissioning Agent (known henceforth as the ICA) to monitor and report to the client, The Engineer and the Construction & Site Supervision Consultant upon the progress and quality of the Commissioning processes while undertaking the compliance of the operating Maintenance Manuals, Record Documentation, prepare training manuals and any other scope required. CSI role is to review, inspection and advisory as per the necessary attendances, information, documentation and drawings.

Wadi Safar is a geographic area and a wadi system located to the west of Riyadh. The area forms a natural branch and tributary to Wadi Hanifah from the central portion of the Wadi. The area is developed by the Diriyah Gate Company Limited (DGCL) to expand upon the Diriyah Gate development, immediately east of Wadi Safar. The Oberoi Hotel and Branded Residence is located on the Northern plateau with high escarpment perimeter to the South and West of the plot which forms a major part of the layout and design of the hotel offering interesting panoramic views of the valley and its surrounds.

The Oberoi Hotel and Branded Residence adopts a Najdi architectural character, in line with the theme of the Wadi Safar development. The hotel will have 78 rooms and 34 fully serviced luxury residences and is expected to open in 2026.
