UWT MILGARD HALL – UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON

UW Tacoma campus building is three stories with classroom spaces for their civil and mechanical engineering programs.  Special learning labs include Environmental Air Quality Lab, Machine & Fabrication Shop, Concrete Lab, Combustion Lab, Geotech/Soils Mechanics, Biomechanics and Hydrology Lab. Each lab classroom has special equipment requiring plumbing connections including compressed air and acid neutralization. Burman Engineering worked on all the plumbing systems throughout the building, including domestic water, waste, vent, storm, compressed air and vacuum, working from project definition phase, through construction documents and construction administration. Opened in December 2022.
